What is Reciprocate Pathways about?
Reciprocate Pathways is a community based, not for profit organization that primarily assists our Maori & Pacific Island and multicultural youth communities, around Victoria to provide opportunistic pathways- whether it be in Sports, Academic/ Education, and to provide an online platform for Youth to feel safe and supported to speak out about social and current concerns in the communities.
Reciprocate Pathway Staff are trained and qualified to advocate for clients civil rights, criminal Offences, and provide referral courses to upskill and educate our clients.
Our qualified and experienced staff will assist and provide pathways that have our client-centred focus in the best of their interest.
*************** We Value Culture and Diversity *************
We are currently working with individual schools and students to acculturate the Mainstream Educational Programs with Te Reo, Fakatonga and Faa Samoa Educational Programs. In doing so, we have successfully assisted in coordinating the Maori & Pacific Island Program, directed by Laila Pawley, (Fijian Descent & MPI Teacher) at Mount Ridley College, Craigieburn for 4 successful years from 2014 -2018. Our Headquarters are now situated in West Melbourne and we will be projecting to deliver these programs to West Schools also. Please refer to Youth Services (In Schools MPI Programs).
***************** We Advocate and Counsel *******************
Our qualified Case Managers volunteer and advocate/ counsel with many Multicultural Maori and Pacific Island clients who may experience hardships with Civil/Legal/Family/Work matters or youths who are struggling with social/mental/emotional issues - We advocate and support our clients with referals to Headspace, Turning Point (Drug and Alcohol Clinic), Rainbow Network (Transgender Victoria), JK Lawyers & Co. (Criminal and Civil Legal Cases), and UMOU (U, Me, Ourselves, and Us).
***** We provide Courses and Educational Programs *******
Reciproc8 Pathways has formed partnerships with successful RTO's, Tafes and Colleges that assist clients with Australian Recognized courses and educational programs. Currently we offer referrals to church based academic programs, all free of charge. Our objective is to bring the "courses to the people", rather than have our community members travel far to accomplish their educational goals. Refer to Gallery Pics of Graduates.
*We provide Online Webcast, Podcast and Youth group Streams**
Our new M.B.Race program, is an online media based Youth program that allows youth to make safe blogs, create safe online youth group activities and Youth social media interaction.
